Card Condition Guide
Every card we buy or sell is graded against this same scale — it's what determines the price you see in the shop and the offer you get when you sell to us. Use it to self-assess your cards before building a sell-list.
The photos below show the same card's corner and border at each grade — this is where wear shows up first, so it's the best spot to check on your own cards.
Mint
Fresh from a sealed pack with zero wear — perfectly sharp corners, no scuffing, and pack-fresh gloss. Rare outside of brand-new product.
Near Mint
Little to no visible wear under normal light. Corners and edges are sharp, with no creases and at most the faintest handling marks.
Good (Lightly Played)
Minor wear from normal handling and sleeving — light surface or edge scuffing, maybe a slightly softened corner. No creases. Fully sleeve- and tournament-ready.
Played
Clearly played but still table-ready. Expect rounded corners, some surface scratching, minor edge whitening, or a light crease that doesn't affect the card structurally.
Heavily Played
Significant wear from regular use — noticeable creasing, heavy edge whitening, a scuffed surface, or bent corners. Still whole and usable, but well worn-in.
Damaged
Damage beyond normal wear: water damage, tears, heavy creasing or warping, ink/writing on the card, or missing pieces.
Buylist Payout Guide (Non-Foil & Foil Cards)
This is the percentage of a card's Near Mint buy price you'll get at each condition — the same rate applies whether the card is foil or non-foil.
Note: Exact payout may vary by card demand, rarity, and severity of wear.
